Responsible End Market Work Session with SWANA, CAA, NSAC & SAF | June 30, 2026 | 11:30 am until 1 pm ET | 8:30 am until 10 am PT
The public comment period is now open for Circular Action Alliance's (CAA) draft Responsible End Markets (REM) Standard. While the standard is intended to support REM requirements in states with packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, its implications are likely to extend well beyond those states and influence how materials are managed, verified, and marketed throughout the recycling value chain.
On June 30, members of the National Stewardship Action Council (NSAC) and Stewardship Action Foundation (SAF) will join the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and CAA for an exclusive work session focused on reviewing the draft standard and preparing informed public comments before the July 7 deadline.
